Summary
Join Instructure as an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our K-12 market in North America. This fully remote role involves introducing the Instructure Learning Platform to new clients through various channels, including outbound contacting, trade shows, email campaigns, and responding to inbound leads. You will own and manage prospecting for a designated territory, creating quarterly plans to achieve quotas and providing regular, accurate forecasts. The ideal candidate is a hard-working, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Experience in sales or tech-related sales is preferred, along with experience selling software products and services to academic institutions. Requirements

- Have experience selling software products and services
- Demonstrate the ability to learn complex enterprise software solutions and use of that knowledge to sell to academic institutions
- Have working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
Responsibilities
- Introduce the Instructure Learning Platform to new clients through outbound contacting, trade shows, email campaigns and response to inbound leads
- Own and manage the prospecting for a designated territory
- Create quarterly plans to achieve quotas
- Provide regular, accurate forecasts and update lead status using Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in sales or tech related sales
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in any related field
