Summary

Join our dynamic sales team as an Inside Sales Representative and contribute to delivering Science for a Safer World. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for successfully positioning and selling LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products into the Nordic & Baltics customer base.

Requirements

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in Life Sciences
  • Proven, effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to travel as needed (<10%)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills to drive successful relationship building
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with experience or ability to effectively report and track sales metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
  • Results-oriented, high-energy and positive โ€œcan-doโ€ approach
  • Strong skills and expertise in using Microsoft Office and associated applications

Responsibilities

  • Follow up by phone or email on new customer inquiries, sample requests, webinars and tradeshow leads to ensure touch point with all customers for cross selling
  • Identify and proactively reach out to prospective customers to generate demand for LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products and services
  • Work closely and in collaboration with Field Sales and Commercial Applications team members to achieve new sales results by utilizing a strategic sales process
  • Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to learn customersโ€™ business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions in a consultative manner that will resolve scientific, automation, and business issues
  • Provide custom pricing and quotes to customers, working closely with Field Sales, Head of Sales and Product Management
  • Follow-up on quotes and orders to secure recurring business and identify additional opportunities to grow business within existing accounts
  • Proactively seek new customers as well as new business opportunities within existing customers
  • Assist Marketing and Product Management with efforts to generate and qualify a sufficient pipeline of prospects needed for the company to achieve goals in future periods
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, client operations, and competitive offerings to effectively position LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products
  • Provides timely sales and pipeline inputs as required to support reporting of leading and lagging indicators
