Summary
Join our dynamic sales team as an Inside Sales Representative and contribute to delivering Science for a Safer World. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for successfully positioning and selling LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products into the Nordic & Baltics customer base.
Requirements
- A bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences
- Proven, effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to travel as needed (<10%)
- Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills to drive successful relationship building
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with experience or ability to effectively report and track sales metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Results-oriented, high-energy and positive โcan-doโ approach
- Strong skills and expertise in using Microsoft Office and associated applications
Responsibilities
- Follow up by phone or email on new customer inquiries, sample requests, webinars and tradeshow leads to ensure touch point with all customers for cross selling
- Identify and proactively reach out to prospective customers to generate demand for LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products and services
- Work closely and in collaboration with Field Sales and Commercial Applications team members to achieve new sales results by utilizing a strategic sales process
- Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to learn customersโ business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions in a consultative manner that will resolve scientific, automation, and business issues
- Provide custom pricing and quotes to customers, working closely with Field Sales, Head of Sales and Product Management
- Follow-up on quotes and orders to secure recurring business and identify additional opportunities to grow business within existing accounts
- Proactively seek new customers as well as new business opportunities within existing customers
- Assist Marketing and Product Management with efforts to generate and qualify a sufficient pipeline of prospects needed for the company to achieve goals in future periods
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, client operations, and competitive offerings to effectively position LGC Biosearch & Clinical Diagnostics products
- Provides timely sales and pipeline inputs as required to support reporting of leading and lagging indicators
