Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, lead management software, and sales automation technology
  • A goal-oriented mindset is often evaluated based on lead conversion and appointment setting metrics
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn about the company's products or services, as well as the market and industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field
  • Comparable record of sales leadership experience required

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential leads and target prospects within a defined market or industry
  • Utilize various sources, including online research, social media, and business directories, to compile lists of targeted prospects
  • Conduct outbound sales activities, such as cold calls, emails, and social media outreach, to initiate contact with potential leads
  • Craft compelling messages and scripts to engage prospects and pique their interest
  • Build name recognition to help increase contact rates
  • Engage in conversations with prospects to assess their needs, challenges, and interest in the products or services
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria, including users, service offering, need, and timeline
  • Schedule meetings for qualified leads with the outside sales team
  • Ensure that all appointments meet the established criteria for a sales-qualified lead
  • Maintain regular follow-up with leads not ready for immediate engagement, nurturing them over time and tracking their progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and information in the CRM platform
  • Provide regular reports and updates on calls, emails, lead generation activities, conversion rates
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the target market to adapt outreach strategies
  • Achieve key performance indicators: 80+ calls per day to decision makers; 2-4 first time appointments per week, etc

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of sales experience is preferred
