Summary
Join Afar's Sales & Marketing team as an Integrated Marketing Manager! Develop and execute creative marketing strategies to drive revenue. Collaborate with various departments to create and package campaigns. Partner with the sales team to effectively communicate and sell marketing solutions. Develop brand materials and sales tools to support revenue goals. The ideal candidate possesses pre-sales marketing experience in media or agency settings, is solutions-oriented, and can connect marketing strategies to business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of integrated marketing experience
- Self-starter who sets priorities, takes on new projects and drives progress with full accountability
- Strong marketing/proposal writing skills, including clear and concise oral and written communication and ability to strategically develop ideas
- Comfortable working closely with and presenting to clients/agencies
- Strong knowledge of current digital, social, podcast, and mobile advertising platforms and ability to implement into everyday work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and co-exist within a team
Responsibilities
- Ideation and strategic proposal writing: Develop high impact content marketing and media campaigns for advertisers across digital, print, mobile, video, audio, social, and event/experiential platforms
- Act as an expert and resource for assigned categories/accounts, including development of sales opportunities, insights, trend analysis, etc.; Develop and communicate learnings and ideas to sales and marketing teams
- Develop industry partnerships that will enhance Afarβs marketing solutions and capabilities
- Partner with the Marketing Activations and Ad Operations teams to understand campaign performance and establish best practices for pitching, pricing, and packaging marketing solutions
- Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing Activations teams, ensuring consistency in pre-to post-sale transition
- Create materials, presentations, sell sheets, and other communication tools that help position and sell Afar, and our marketing solutions, to the advertising, media, and travel industries
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with digital platforms and web technologies preferred
- Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote, and Microsoft Office Suite; Asana a plus
Benefits
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
