Summary
Join our team as an IT Admin cum Operations Manager and provide technical support and oversee operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning of our organization's IT infrastructure. You will be the go-to person for IT-related issues, playing a key role in maintaining system efficiency and productivity. This role encompasses helpdesk support, networking support, systems monitoring and auditing, and operations management. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and proven experience in IT support and operations management. Strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for success.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT support and operations management
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MAC, Google Workspace, Office 365, and antivirus software
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts, routers, switches, and LAN/WAN setup
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical issues independently
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users and stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for Windows OS, MAC, Google Workspace, Office 365, antivirus software, and endpoint tools
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolve technical problems, and provide guidance to end-users
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and other IT peripherals
- Assist with basic configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and other networking equipment
- Assist in setting up LAN/WAN connections, ensuring proper connectivity, and resolving network-related issues
- Collaborate with network service providers to maintain a reliable and secure network infrastructure
- Implement and manage systems for employee time tracking, attendance, and background checks
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems, ensuring compliance with security protocols and industry standards
- Evaluate and recommend new systems and software solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Coordinate software migrations, data migrations, and provide support during the transition process
- Oversee the delivery and setup of new laptops for employees, ensuring proper configuration and installation of necessary software
- Manage office landline services, including responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with service providers
- Handle physical mail and courier services, ensuring timely delivery and distribution
