IT Executive

Summary

Requirements

• Diploma in IT/Computer Science/or related fields
• Basic troubleshooting techniques for resolving MS/Mac operating system issues
• Understanding of networking and internet technologies, IT infrastructure experience – knowledge of servers, desktops, ERP software, POS system, firewall, router, and switch are essential
• Familiar with cloud technologies
• Willing to learn new technologies and systems quickly, and adapt to a very fast paced, fast-changing environment
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT/Desktop support
• Previous startup experience of all kinds are welcomed!

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level desktop, network and application support, including service request, incident management, and problem resolution
• Support technical issues related to end-user devices (e.g., desktop/laptop computers, printers, scanners, tablets, and smartphones) and software (e.g., Microsoft Office and emails)
• Support retail store POS software and hardware
• Set up accounts and workstations, as well as deploy and configure software and hardware in bulk
• Manage network servers, technology tools, and the setup and deployment of new desktop/laptop computers, including Windows Active Directory administration
• Monitor system performance and maintain them as per requirements, troubleshooting issues and outages
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
• Effectively manage software and hardware equipment needs across both HQ and store locations
• Develop procedures, guidelines, and checklists for future reference
• Support and maintain physical security systems such as CCTV and door access
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance problem resolution and reduce knowledge gaps
• Partner closely with HR to ensure a seamless onboarding and exit process from an IT standpoint
• Ensure adherence to the operating budget for Internal Operations Function
