IT Manager

Requirements

• 4-5 years of IT management or related experience, ideally in digital health, tech, or startup environments
• Expertise in Mac systems, in-depth knowledge of MDM solutions (JAMF) Okta (IAM and SSO), and SaaS-based apps Jira Cloud, Slack, 1Password, and Google Workspace)
• Proven track record in implementing new systems, scaling solutions, and improving IT processes
• Knowledge of IT security principles, including access control, encryption, and HIPAA compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT systems, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability
• Lead the helpdesk team in providing timely, effective support to end-users, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency
• Employee lifecycle management
• Proactively diagnose and address technical issues, minimizing downtime and improving system reliability
• Drive continuous improvements to streamline workflows, enhance resource allocation, and automate processes
• Manage vendor relationships, aligning business needs with technical capabilities
• Collaborate with department leaders to recommend and implement IT solutions that advance organizational goals
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices, including HIPAA compliance and data protection protocols
• Support risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning to protect systems and maintain operational resilience
• Translate technical information into clear, actionable steps for non-technical teams
• Maintain thorough documentation for IT processes, policies, and guidelines to promote consistency and knowledge sharing

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Cloudflare or AWS
• Apple Certified Mac Technician, CompTIA A+, Network+, Jamf 100-200, or similar credentials
