IT Operations and Compliance Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's in computer science, IT, or related field
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL, etc.) are highly valuable
• 3+ years' experience in a Senior IT role AND 3+ years' experience in a Hands-on IT role
• Skills in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity and operational risks
• Expertise in creating and enforcing IT policies and processes to ensure security, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed documentation

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP)
• Develop, review and enforce IT policies
• Ensure robust data protection, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity
• Develop & test business continuity and disaster recovery plan
• Oversee IT budget and maintain vendor relationships
• Drive technology transformation
• Evaluate, select, and configure new tools
• Oversee & manage hands-on internal IT infrastructure such as GitHub and Atlassian
• Manage relationships with our Technology IT Partner and our Security Partner, overseeing their hands-on work and their strategic IT services
• Identify and recommend relevant IT training programs for staff
• Develop monthly reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Ideally experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading an IT team
• Ideally experience leading IT transformations and adapting to growth
• Willingness to provide direct support for IT infrastructure (e.g., hardware/software, MS 365 management) when needed
