Requirements
- Bachelor's in computer science, IT, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL, etc.) are highly valuable
- 3+ years' experience in a Senior IT role AND 3+ years' experience in a Hands-on IT role
- Skills in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity and operational risks
- Expertise in creating and enforcing IT policies and processes to ensure security, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Experience creating and maintaining detailed documentation
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP)
- Develop, review and enforce IT policies
- Ensure robust data protection, regulatory compliance and cybersecurity
- Develop & test business continuity and disaster recovery plan
- Oversee IT budget and maintain vendor relationships
- Drive technology transformation
- Evaluate, select, and configure new tools
- Oversee & manage hands-on internal IT infrastructure such as GitHub and Atlassian
- Manage relationships with our Technology IT Partner and our Security Partner, overseeing their hands-on work and their strategic IT services
- Identify and recommend relevant IT training programs for staff
- Develop monthly reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Ideally experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading an IT team
- Ideally experience leading IT transformations and adapting to growth
- Willingness to provide direct support for IT infrastructure (e.g., hardware/software, MS 365 management) when needed
