IT Support Technician

Summary

The job is for a First Level Technical Support position in Concord, MA with hybrid work schedule. The role involves providing technical support to employees, handling help tickets, software setup, imaging, and deployment of new laptops and desktops. Additionally, the employee will be expected to implement small and medium sized IT projects to improve company infrastructure.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills
• Positive attitude
• Basic understanding of computer networking
• Good understanding of Microsoft client and server operating systems, including but not limited to: Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and newer, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Microsoft Exchange or Office 365 experience

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for all IT-related issues for both local and remote employees
• General Desktop support, employees in Concord office as well as remote employees for software, hardware, and core company services
• Setup and ship new workstations for employees (imaging, deploying software…)
• Complete IT projects as needed
• Research and resolve technical issues independently
• Creating end user and internal documentation as needed
• Provide A/V support for monthly onsite company meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an end-user of Atlassian products is a plus
• Experience administering Duo or other Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions is a plus
• PowerShell experience or other scripting/automation experience is a plus
