Summary

Intelligent Technical Solutions is seeking a collaborative problem-solver with excellent customer service skills to join their team as a System Administrator. The employee will provide onsite and remote IT support, handling a range of technical issues from workstation operating system problems to server issues. They are expected to have experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting, Server 2012 to 2022, VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization, M365 and Azure, and basic networking knowledge. The role requires a home office setup, strong English language skills, and the ability to work full-time from Monday to Friday. Requirements

  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting
  • Experience with Server 2012 to 2022
  • Experience with VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization
  • Experience supporting M365 and Azure
  • Minimum of three years experience in IT Support or a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting
  • Proficient in supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications
  • A home office set up that meets the following requirements: A working computer with minimum of 8gb RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur. A stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload. A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings. A mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication app. An HD webcam. (UPS if using a desktop)

  • Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST) from Monday to Friday
  • Able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments
  • Must have at least 2 of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA
  • Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants)

Responsibilities

  • Resolve workstation operating system issues of any kind
  • Resolve printer issues of any kind
  • Resolve standard business application (Office, etc.) issues of any kind
  • Resolve line-of-business application issues for common applications and for more niche applications with vendor assistance
  • Resolve server issues of any kind
  • Handle basic and intermediate networking issues
  • Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 technicians

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • Active Server Certifications are preferred
