Summary

The Systems Administrator role at XPRIZE involves managing IT systems and supporting users for their day-to-day needs. The person in this position will spend over 70% of their time maintaining the technology infrastructure and performing tasks such as analyzing system logs, introducing new technologies, and creating training materials. They are required to have experience with various systems and software, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows 11, MAC OS client, centralized Endpoint Protection Systems, Secure Web and Email Gateways, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications, and Patching Systems and Endpoint Management Systems. The qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in CIS and relevant experience. The anticipated base salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000, and the role is eligible for benefits and generous paid time off.

Requirements

• 4+ years Systems Administration experience in a venture backed, start-up (preferred)
• 3+ years administering Azure, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is required
• 3+ years of experience working with Windows 11 is required
• 3+ years of experience of working with MAC OS client
• 2+ years  of experience with  centralized Endpoint Protection Systems, Secure Web and  Email Gateways
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications is required
• 3+ years of experience working with Patching Systems and  Endpoint Management Systems (both MAC and PC)

Responsibilities

• Managing XPRIZE IT Systems and Cloud SaaS applications
• Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
• Introducing and integrating new technologies
• Performing routine audits of systems and software
• Performing backups and restoring of data
• Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Installing and configuring new hardware and software
• Creating training materials and conducting security awareness trainings for end users
• Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc
• Responsibility for security
• Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the systems
• Tuning Systems performance
• Answering technical queries and troubleshooting any reported problems
