Systems Administrator

Summary

The job is for a Data Engineering role at Anteriad, a B2B solution provider. The employee will manage and support Cloud computing environments in AWS, mentor junior team members, and focus on provisioning, managing, and supporting Cloud computing resources. They will also be expected to research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, maintain a positive attitude towards customers, and continuously improve the Cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related management information systems field
• 5+ years’ experience in AWS Cloud Infrastructure management
• Experience with multi-region clusters, disaster recovery, database admin/operations, scripting/automation
• Strong knowledge of AWS security architecture/infrastructure
• Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
• Proficient in computer hardware, installations and support, wireless technology, and cybersecurity
• Proficient in Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Excellent Cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• A strong desire to continually evaluate, learn and adopt new technologies
• Good in scripting in one or more languages, such as Python, PowerShell
• The aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate directly with technical teams
• Experience transforming IT infrastructure and migrating to a cloud-based (AWS/Azure) environment
• Experience managing IP based networks, WAN technologies, virtual server technologies, cloud, DHCP/DNS, SAN/NAS storage

Responsibilities

• Manage the secure, scalable hosting of numerous customer-facing applications in AWS environment
• Monitor core infrastructure services and provide support on a rotation basis
• Operate and maintain EC2 instances, production ECS clusters, and additional AWS services

Preferred Qualifications

Skills like CloudTrail, Redshift, Lambda, WAF are a big plus
