System Administrator

Summary

The job is for a System Administrator at Intelligent Technical Solutions. The employee will provide remote IT support, handle various technical issues, and maintain high standards of IT service. The role requires experience with specified technologies and certifications, a home office setup, full-time work, and excellent command of English.

Requirements

• Experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting
• Experience with Server 2012 to 2022
• Experience with VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization
• Experience supporting M365 and Azure
• Minimum of five years experience in IT Support or a similar role
• Basic knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in supporting MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, backup software, endpoint cybersecurity, mobile devices, and various business applications
• Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable
• Active Server Certifications are preferred
• Able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants)
• A home office set up that meets the following: a working computer with minimum of 8gb RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur, stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload, a quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings, a mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication app, HD webcam, 2nd Monitor, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply ) if using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)

Responsibilities

Resolve technical issues with little or no assistance: workstation operating system issues, printer issues, standard business application issues, line-of-business application issues for common applications, server issues, basic and intermediate networking issues, serve as escalation point for Tier 1 technicians

Experience with more niche applications with vendor assistance
