Summary
Join Movemedical, a leading SaaS platform transforming medical device inventory management, as an IT Systems Engineer. You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our internal IT operations, security, and infrastructure. This position requires strong technical skills in cloud-based infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will collaborate with vendors and colleagues, balancing task-driven and project-based work while upholding IT compliance and InfoSec processes. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of IT experience, including security, compliance, and cloud infrastructure support. Requirements
- 2+ years of IT experience, including security, compliance, cloud infrastructure support, and networking
- Proficiency in collaboration/email SaaS (M365 preferred), SSO (Okta preferred), Atlassian Suite (Confluence/JIRA/Opsgenie), Cloud IaaS (AWS preferred), SIEM, endpoint device management, and infrastructure automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills and passion for documentation
- Ability to work in an organization with deep SMEs while ensuring high-quality execution
- Customer service mindset with strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve IT service requests supporting daily operations
- Answer incoming voice calls/chats and facilitate resolution of queries
- Execute staff onboarding/offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning and return
- Provide internal end-user computer support, including facilitating device repair/replacement
- Regularly review and respond to security and infrastructure alerts
- Facilitate the implementation of IT security and operational improvements
- Provide 24x7 operations support as part of an on-call rotation, including InfoSec response and infrastructure maintenance
- Establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, access privileges, and security settings
- Manage SaaS providers and support tools used to run the business
- Collaborate on major IT projects, including performance/security enhancements and provisioning of new infrastructure
- Contribute to the regular execution of IT compliance and security processes
- Ensure compliance with established information security policies, procedures, and best practices for protecting sensitive or confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., SOC 2 or HIPAA compliance)
- IT automation experience (such as creating/managing service integrations)
- Performance testing/monitoring
- InfoSec certification (Security+ or CISSP)
- Database administration (MySQL)
- Experience with Linux sysadmin (Amazon Linux/CentOS or Ubuntu) and telephony/voice services
