Junior Accountant

Summary

Join 1Password's Accounts Receivable team as a Junior Accountant! This remote, Canada-based role requires a minimum of one year of accounting experience and strong communication skills. You will manage collections, respond to customer inquiries, resolve disputes, and support AR processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a team player. The salary ranges from $59,000 to $79,000 CAD annually, plus a generous benefits package including health, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and equity grants. Occasional travel within Canada and the US may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the collections process by following up on customer payments and coordinating with the sales team for necessary information
• Respond to customer emails regarding billing and collection matters
• Help identify and facilitate the resolution of customer disputes on a timely basis, working with sales, customer success and other internal stakeholders when necessary
• Assist in managing the AR inbox and distribute emails efficiently among team members
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer success teams, to resolve customer issues and improve billing and collections processes
• Help with the recording and reconciliation of customer payments
• Assist in projects related to the automation and process improvements of the AR team
• Provide support to other finance teams as needed
