Junior Accountant

Summary

Join New Guards Group as a Junior Accountant, GL & VAT to accurately record and maintain financial transactions in the general ledger, perform reconciliations of various accounting accounts, support VAT-related activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage requests from internal/external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 6 months’ experience in accounting activities in structured companies and with international business
• English proficiency
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and with spirit of adaptation in a dynamic reality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Accurately record and maintain financial transactions in the general ledger
• Perform reconciliations of various accounting accounts to ensure data precision
• Support VAT-related activities, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to overall financial success
• Support the team in other different activities, when needed
• Manage requests from internal/external auditors
