Junior Accountant

Summary

The job is for a Junior Accountant at Fresha, a global beauty & wellness marketplace platform. The role involves managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The position requires at least 1 year of experience in the accounting/finance field, financial education background, understanding of accounting and tax law, very good knowledge of English, very good knowledge of Excel, being proactive with analytical skills and good attention to detail, and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration - Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless partner experience
• Verifying and booking of cost invoices and bank transactions
• Monitoring of account payable and account receivable transactions
• Verifying and preparing data for month-end closing activities
• Cooperation with the external accounting service providers
• Recording of ‘one-off’ sales invoices and reviewing of revenue
• Cooperation with our entities located worldwide (Canada, United States, UK, UAE etc.)
• Looking for improvements and process automation
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts (like: cash, prepayments, accruals)
• Processing manual payouts to Fresha Partners in UAE and KSA
• Performing review of P&L accounts in order to identify missing invoices, missing bookings (prepayments, accruals), etc

Preferred Qualifications

Bi-lingual - Fluency in English and another language
