Summary

The job description is for a Junior IT Support Engineer position in the medical devices sector located in Northern Athens (Agios Stefanos). The role involves supporting the daily operations of the IT department, managing technical issues, offering user support, ensuring data security, and performing additional tasks. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, at least 1 year of working experience in a similar position, knowledge of Windows Domain Services and Office 365, excellent proficiency in MS Office suite, strong communication skills, responsibility, organization, and consistency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (ideally from a Vocational Institution)
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar position, in IT/Tech/Helpdesk Support
• Knowledge of Windows Domain Services and Office 365
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite
• Strong communication skills
• Responsibility, organization, and consistency
• Adherence to deadlines

Responsibilities

• Supporting the IT Manager in the daily operations of the IT department
• Monitoring and updating the company’s technological infrastructure (Windows, firmware, antivirus, etc.)
• Managing technical issues and providing user support for systems and software
• Ensuring data security and IT system protection
• Performing additional tasks assigned by the IT Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the IT department
• Participating in trainings on information systems topics

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP/CRM systems will be considered a strong asset
