Junior Product Owner in Philippines

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Filipino, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana
• Basic understanding of software development processes and lifecycle
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform product decisions

Responsibilities

• Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with the product vision and goals
• Assist in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation to effectively communicate requirements to development teams
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties to facilitate communication and resolve conflicts
• Monitor project progress and sprint outcomes, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise
• Help prioritize product backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and other relevant factors
• Support the Product Owner/Manager in maintaining a clear product roadmap and ensuring that it is communicated effectively to all stakeholders
• Continuously gather feedback from users, analyze data, and incorporate insights into product iterations
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to inform product development decisions
• Assist in conducting demos, presentations, and other activities to showcase product features and gather feedback
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the product team, actively seeking opportunities to optimize processes and enhance collaboration
