Junior Recruiter

Summary

Join LightFeather as a Junior Recruiter to support our talent acquisition team in finding and attracting top talent, manage the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. This is a remote position requiring candidates to reside on the East Coast.

Requirements

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or related field
• 0-2 years of internship or work experience in recruitment, including exposure to sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting various stages of the hiring process
• Proficiency in Google applications and Microsoft programs
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong administrative and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals
• Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies
• Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring teams
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely responses and feedback
• Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems
• Create, edit, and manage employee and candidate resumes in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Support the review and assessment process for take-home challenge submissions by conducting initial evaluations, ensuring that all submissions meet the outlined criteria and requirements
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus
