Summary

The Junior Technical Marketing Specialist will engage with developers, create technical content, advocate for the platform, gather feedback, and provide technical assistance at Akuity. The ideal candidate has practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or related field, is familiar with CI/CD processes, Argo CD, GitOps, and Kubernetes, and has relevant communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

• Practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or related field
• Familiarity with the CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Argo CD and/or GitOps
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Relevant communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with developers and platform engineers through various channels to build and nurture relationships within the community
• Create high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, sample code, demos, videos, and documentation
• Serve as a passionate advocate for Akuity's platform and technologies by delivering compelling presentations, workshops, and demos at events and conferences
• Gather feedback from developers and platform engineers in order to relay insights to internal teams to help improve products, documentation, and end user experience
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with business objectives
• Provide technical assistance and support to developers and platform engineers by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on best practices for integrating Akuity's Platform, APIs, SDKs, and any other tools

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in developer relations, technical writing, or public speaking is a plus
