Summary
Join Qualio, a leading life science quality management platform company, as their Lead, People Business Partner. This strategic and hands-on role involves co-leading the growing People Ops team, driving organizational excellence through data-informed strategies, and focusing on the Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams. You will develop and execute people strategies, lead projects, manage stakeholders, and ensure operational excellence in all people matters. The position requires a strong project management background, expertise in HRIS and analytics platforms, and experience with global teams. You will partner with executive leadership, oversee cross-functional projects, and anticipate organizational needs. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP, People Ops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of demonstrated HR experience with proven ability to drive results in complex environments
- Experience managing a team of direct reports, demonstrating effective project leadership, performance management, and stakeholder collaboration
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Experience supporting global teams and understanding their unique people needs
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to align people initiatives with business objectives
- Expertise in implementing and optimizing HRIS and analytics platforms to drive efficiency and insights
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and platforms to enhance HR processes, including: Using AI analytics for workforce insights and predictive modeling
- Implementing AI-powered solutions for talent development
- Automating routine HR tasks while maintaining the human touch
- Utilizing AI tools for employee engagement analysis
- Deep expertise in core HR functions, elevated through strategic use of technology: Data-driven organizational design and workforce planning
- Succession planning and talent development frameworks
- Employee relations strategy and conflict resolution approaches
- Performance management systems and coaching methodologies
- Retention strategy development and implementation
- Experience building and implementing DEI strategies with measurable outcomes
- Knowledge of US, Irish, and international labor laws
- Outstanding leadership abilities with a coaching and mentoring approach
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive people strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness
- Lead projects and serve as an interim people manager as needed, functioning as a member of a team of People Ops professionals while overseeing people-centric initiatives
- Drive organizational excellence through innovative talent management practices, performance frameworks, and leadership development initiatives
- Design and implement scalable DEI initiatives with measurable outcomes to foster an inclusive global culture
- Establish and maintain comprehensive people analytics frameworks that track engagement, retention, DEI progress, and overall organizational health
- Partner with executive leadership to optimize organizational design, talent development, and succession planning through data-backed recommendations
- Oversee cross-functional projects using structured project management methodologies to deliver high-impact people programs
- Ensure alignment and consistency in people practices across global regions while respecting local regulations and cultural nuances
- Anticipate organizational needs and proactively develop solutions that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or GPHR Certification
- Experience in life sciences or regulated industries
