Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development (SaaS or professional services) with a proven track record of leading and scaling 3+ software products from concept to launch
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior or lead Product Management role with demonstrated team leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience building AI/ML-powered products or features
  • Experience conducting customer research and implementing product analytics, using feedback to improve product outcomes
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, project management, leadership)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize initiatives, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision
  • Strategic and consultative thinker with the ability to contribute to both 8th Light company strategy and customer product vision
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in thought leadership activities (e.g., content creation, public speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute product activities like discovery, research, and requirements for clients and their end users
  • Leverage human-centered design, lean and agile principles to deliver intuitive, engaging, high quality software
  • Provide strategic recommendations and roadmap guidance for Enterprise clients
  • Own product strategy and go to market plans alongside key stakeholders for mid-size to scale up clients
  • Support innovation and the cohesion of ideas and processes that inspire creativity and new product offerings and features
  • Drive the setting and meeting of milestones alongside the business, delivery, design and engineering teams
  • Be an active participant in shipping product features into a production and market ready state
  • Engage with external peers, partners and other industry contacts that evolve your knowledge of trends, latest strategies and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • A MBA or an advanced knowledge of interdisciplinary functions, Finance, Security, Observability and Cloud Experience within digital product consultancies
  • Experience selling professional services offerings to new businesses or existing accounts of enterprise size and scale
