Join Deel's PaySpace team as a Learning and Education Instructional Designer and play a pivotal role in designing engaging learning experiences for customers and internal stakeholders. You will create comprehensive training materials for our Payroll and HR solution, collaborating with subject matter experts. Your expertise in instructional design and attention to detail will be crucial in creating content that meets diverse learning needs. You will be responsible for curriculum development, content creation, needs analysis, instructional design, UX design collaboration, quality assurance, ad hoc training delivery, evaluation and assessment, documentation, stakeholder engagement, project management, and upskilling team members. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in instructional design or training development. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in instructional design, e-learning development, or training program development, preferably in the software industry or related field
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise360, Vyond, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and learning technologies
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive course outlines tailored to various user roles
- Create engaging and interactive learning content, such as e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and assessments, using instructional design principles and cutting-edge e-learning authoring tools that effectively communicates key concepts, features, and functionalities of our payroll software products
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify learning objectives, target audience characteristics, and training requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- Apply instructional design theories, methodologies, and best practices to design effective learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and skill acquisition
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure that learning materials are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the overall user experience of the PaySpace platform
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of learning materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions, virtual webinars, and workshops for customers and internal colleagues, providing expert guidance and support to enhance learning outcomes
- Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback from stakeholders, and continuously improve learning materials and delivery methods
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including training guides, user manuals, and FAQs, to support the implementation and ongoing usage of the PaySpace platform
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, customer support, and sales, to ensure that learning initiatives align with product development roadmaps and customer needs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and milestones, and effectively communicate project status and progress
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other team members, providing guidance on instructional design principles, e-learning development tools, and best practices. Empower colleagues to enhance their skills and capabilities in instructional design and training delivery
