Summary

Join Meteor as a Learning Experience Coordinator and provide instructional leadership on project design teams. Collaborate with internal teams and clients, ensuring client-focused instructional input into classroom design. You will lead the design team to create environments aligned with client needs and research-based learning principles. This remote position requires travel for onsite training and support. The role involves teacher onboarding, conducting observations, and preparing reports. You will also serve as a liaison for developing proposals and attending regular meetings.

Requirements

  • Possess depth of knowledge to speak with expertise and confidence about student-centered learning experiences at all levels and content areas
  • Have growth and development knowledge about optimal student learning experiences at the various developmentally appropriate levels
  • Relate well to a wide variety of audiences
  • Successfully manage multiple assigned projects and responsibilities with efficiency
  • Flexibly and smoothly integrate changes within a time schedule or work product
  • Collaborate as a productive team member while fostering mutual growth
  • Have good decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills including virtual and phone conversations
  • Have the ability to summarize and synthesize instructional information and produce a written document with pertinent educational information/language for publication
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Minimum 5 years of successful teaching experience
  • Experience as a school-based instructional coach and/or district administrator

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional support, guidance, and leadership to the design team per the Learning Design Principles and Framework
  • Implement the Instructional Design discovery process in accordance with the client journey to discover the client’s desired instructional plan
  • Summarize and synthesize instructional information and produce a written document with pertinent educational information/language for publication
  • Communicate the instructional design deliverables from team and client meetings
  • Lead the design team to create environments per the client’s desired instructional plan and the environmental support needed for those interactions and experiences
  • Ensure alignment with research and Learning Design Principles with all design projects
  • Initiate alignment conversations with Managing Director around all projects
  • Maintain ongoing and effective communication with internal project team members
  • Initiate and maintain communication with clients in accordance with the client journey
  • Conduct teacher on-boarding training and/or support for projects
  • Conduct observations/prepare reports for clients using Meteor’s Measured Learning Environment Tool(s)
  • Serve as liaison for the development of the Learning Experiences proposals for Learning Experiences Training and Support
  • In addition to studio meetings, attend regularly scheduled meetings through Meteor’s Global Services Support (GSS) Learning Experience department
  • In addition to studio meetings, attend regularly scheduled meetings/trainings with the LEC PDX (Professional Development Experience) for ongoing support
  • Articulately and correctly communicate the Meteor instructional brand message
  • Willingly engage in training and coaching to become well-versed in the Meteor instructional message, aligned research, the Design Team process, and the Learning Experiences Coordinator’s role
