Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or paralegal certification; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in a corporate or legal environment
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Proficiency in GoogleSuites and legal research tools
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the General Counsel and Chief Financial Officer
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and agreements
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information
  • Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases
  • Assist with monitoring regulatory changes and industry standards
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external parties regarding legal inquiries, contracts, and agreements
  • Provide support in managing and tracking ongoing legal cases and matters
  • Handle general office duties such as scheduling, planning offsites, and scheduling reservations
