Summary

Join Rula as its first Legal Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of the Legal Department. You will be responsible for establishing and owning processes to manage legal intake, reduce legal spend, and streamline operations. A key responsibility will be the onboarding of Rula’s new Contract Lifecycle Management system. You will also manage entity maintenance, corporate and medical registrations, and other operational processes. This role reports to the Head of Legal/Corporate and offers a fully remote work environment with attractive compensation and benefits. We are seeking a highly organized and creative individual with experience in business operations and project management within high-growth environments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in business operational and/or project management roles
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced corporate environments
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Experience in devising systems and processes for business departments (Legal or otherwise)

Responsibilities

  • Establish and own creative processes to manage legal intake
  • Reduce legal spend
  • Resolve friction that might slow operations
  • Onboard Rula’s new Contract Lifecycle Management system
  • Manage entity maintenance
  • Manage corporate and medical registrations
  • Manage other operational processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience implementing and managing a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
  • Specific experience performing a similar role for a legal department, either in-house or in a law firm
  • Pro-active and creative outlook and style. Excellent communicator
  • Paralegal (or similar) experience, contract negotiation experience
  • Experience with regulatory and/or corporate filings
