Summary

Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
- 5+ years of experience practicing at a law firm, government, or in-house
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including top-notch litigation drafting skills
- Ability to think quickly and simultaneously manage a complex workload and shifting priorities while meeting tight internal and external deadlines
- Resourceful self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for litigation matters, including case strategy development and execution, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Represent the company in smaller litigation matters, including regulatory inquiries, subpoenas, and other third-party requests for information
- Manage outside counsel for more complex litigation matters, including providing strategic guidance, case management, and coordinating internally with business teams to gather relevant information
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on litigation-related matters, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Develop and oversee the companyβs discovery and litigation hold processes
- Provide guidance and updates to management on litigation matters
- Maintain effective communication with insurance carriers and other third parties
