Summary

The Manager of Pricing and Packaging Strategy will lead the pricing and packaging function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue optimization, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Solid understanding of various data analysis, reporting, and CRM tools and comfort in getting up to speed on new tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R, Looker, Salesforce)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Leadership experience in hiring, developing, coaching and mentoring your team and others
  • Ability to connect with executive leadership, delivering concise, data-driven insights

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, structures, and packaging solutions to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and product management to drive revenue growth and maximize customer value
  • Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning to develop pricing models, packaging options, and discount strategies that align with business objectives and drive sustainable growth
  • Partner with others to generate new, innovative ideas
  • Become a specialist on a range of packaging & pricing models
  • Guide and nurture talent on the pricing & packaging team, cultivating an inclusive environment in which all members can bring their full selves to work
  • Develop and hone research and testing capabilities (analyze A/B testing results, use pricing surveys to assess willingness to pay, develop packaging and bundling strategies, etc)
  • Ensure that pricing strategies are operationalized efficiently and effectively; monitor and manage pricing integrity
  • Develop more thorough and efficient feedback loops from customers, sales, marketing, and other partners to ensure our approach remains optimal
