Summary

Join GoDaddy's high-impact Order to Cash Revenue team, where you will oversee accounting and operational activities for key revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an operational accounting role
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company, with direct involvement in SOX compliance and controls
  • Knowledge of ASC 606, GAAP, and revenue recognition principles
  • Proven proficiency in data analysis, including advanced skills in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting and operational activities for several key revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations (including SOX)
  • Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional revenue accounting team, providing guidance on both routine tasks and strategic projects
  • Drive the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), enabling team scalability and knowledge transfer
  • Partner with business units to explain the financial impact of proposed transactions and support financial decision-making
  • Collaborate with finance teams to align on data sources for enhanced financial reporting, providing insight into actuals and variance analysis
  • Champion and implement automation and AI initiatives to streamline processes, upskill the team, and ensure efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring a team
  • Experience with WorkDay ERP system
  • Experience with payments industry revenue streams is a plus
