Summary
Join Stripe's Risk Operations Enablement team as a leader of high-performing program managers. You will drive impactful initiatives, build lasting structures, and evolve mission-critical business processes. Partner across Risk and risk-adjacent teams to devise and execute strategies. Lead the team in tackling ambiguous, high-priority problems and evolving Stripe's Risk ecosystem. Foster a strong team culture, provide coaching, and lead hiring efforts. Transmit and foster Stripe's values, serving as a beacon of its user-centric philosophy and culture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Operations, Risk, business process analysis, strategy and operations, consulting, and/or program management
- 5+ years of experience managing teams of program managers
- Experienced owning globally spanning programs, developing teams and creating leverage through strategic team structures and operating models
- Excel in cross functional influence and partnerships with GTM/user facing account teams, product, and policy
Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally across our Risk organization (Risk Operations, Risk Product, Risk Eng, Data science, etc.) to devise and execute strategies to evolve our Risk infrastructure and operational processes that enable global merchants to meet global regulatory requirements while maintaining a high bar on user experience
- Evolve the team structure, strategy, functions, and roles and responsibilities to continuously meet Stripeโs evolving business needs
- Drive top-line prioritization of work, and manage tradeoffs on resourcing and roadmapping
- Lead a team of high-performing program managers across multiple workstreams; this includes providing consistent coaching, setting vision and goals, holding the team to a high-bar, fostering a strong team culture, and leading hiring efforts when relevant
- Transmit and foster our values, serving as a beacon of Stripeโs user-centric philosophy and culture of transparency, empathy, inclusion, and empowerment
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goal in a highly matrixed organization
- Skilled at tackling ambiguous problems and defining and executing strategies that clarify the problems and deliver quantifiable business impact
- Confident leading decisions with data
- Excellent communication with experience articulating complex topics in an easy-to-consume way, adept at both working-level and exec-level comms
