Summary
Join Minted as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and play a critical role in scaling our fast-growing wholesale businesses. Build new wholesale partnerships with retailers, cultivate existing relationships, and manage day-to-day details to ensure successful wholesale programs. Own the overall strategy for each partner, identify sales performance issues, and communicate them to the team. Act as a key cross-functional partner for various internal teams, create presentations, drive key success metrics, and actively improve wholesale processes. Consult with the brand team on branding and provide feedback based on in-store observations. This remote position reports to the Senior Director, Major Partnerships.

- Experienced in driving continuous improvement projects
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 4-7 years of work experience, partnerships experience is a plus
- Very strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Mastery of Google Sheets, intermediate-level spreadsheet modeling, Google Slides, and creating presentations
Responsibilities
- Build new wholesale partnerships with retailers and cultivate impactful and existing relationships at both the Buyer and Executive levels while building sales roadmaps to expand each partnership over time
- Own the overall strategy for each partner and help shape the direction of the relationship
- Identify sales performance issues and opportunities early, communicate them to the team, propose hypotheses, and recommend clear next steps
- Act as a key cross-functional partner for our supply chain, analytics, finance, merchandising, and brand marketing teams, and able to effectively manage internal relationships
- Create presentations communicating the value proposition, sales strategy, and negotiation strategies for new partnerships
- Drive and track key success metrics, sharing out key insights from weekly sales data
- Actively document and improve wholesale processes to help the team scale more efficiently
- Consult with our brand team on branding for in-store signage and packaging
- Have a direct impact on helping to improve our products and displays by spending time in-stores to learn about our products, see how they are displayed, and provide feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with, or at, a large retailer is a plus, especially as a merchant/buyer, partnerships, account management, or sales roles
- Bonus: Experience working at a company that sells home furnishings, greeting cards, stationery, art, or a physical product
