Summary

Join Help at Home as a Market Development Representative and drive organic growth in the Columbus & Mansfield region. This field-based sales role involves building relationships with potential clients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals to generate new business opportunities. You will conduct market research, cold calling, and networking to expand the client base, providing a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions. This role requires achieving established sales targets, working closely with internal teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. The position offers remote work flexibility but requires regular travel to branches throughout the market.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience, with demonstrated success, in roles focused on business growth. This may include, but is not limited to, sales, talent recruiting, account management, distribution channel management, strategic partnerships, marketing, and business leadership roles with accountability for growth

  • Role must be within the market (Ohio) they are supporting but can be remote within that geography
  • Regular travel on a daily or weekly basis required, even in inclement weather

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships by building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals to generate new business opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by actively identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the assigned market
  • Conduct market research, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to expand the client base
  • Provide a consultative sales approach to understand the specific needs of clients and provide tailored solutions. This includes educating clients and referral sources about the benefits of home healthcare services and how they can meet the needs of patients
  • Achieve established sales targets and goals within the assigned market. This involves setting sales strategies, tracking performance metrics, and adjusting tactics as necessary to ensure success
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met, and that the quality-of-service delivery is maintained

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Additional relevant degrees or credentials a plus
  • Experience in the home health industry is valuable but not required
