Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (and/or equivalent years of experience)
  • Working knowledge of healthcare issues and the life sciences industry
  • 3+ years experience in a high-performance sales organization in sales, enablement, or learning and development
  • Strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools and training
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms (e.g., Salesforce), content management, and learning management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build internal relationships with sales and marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in preparing and proofing documents for senior-level audience
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to multi-task and can prioritize work streams effectively under deadline, with timely execution and resolution of action items
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ethical, confident, and creative, with a persistent "can do" attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support development of the Business Development Strategy for assigned functional sales areas
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that drives achievement of the goals in the Business Development Strategy
  • Design and maintain sales enablement tools, centralized resources, and content, including playbooks, sales scripts, and presentations
  • Create and administer email outreach campaigns through sales automation tools like, Outreach.io to generate new pipeline
  • Create target lists of new prospects through contact databases like LinkedIn and Zoominfo.com to use in outreach campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies, and to create compelling sales collateral
  • Analyze sales processes and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including new hire onboarding and continuous education
  • Create, manage, and deliver training programs and materials to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales team
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends, sales techniques, and competitive landscape to ensure the sales team has a competitive edge
  • Drive proposal development for a subset of opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with developing and maintaining sales plans, managing multiple initiatives/work streams simultaneously preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
