Summary

Join AIP Publishing, a leading physical sciences publisher, as a Marketing Assistant and contribute to projects that drive awareness and usage of our publications. You will be responsible for creating and scheduling digital marketing campaigns, collaborating with the marketing team, and monitoring social media conversations. The ideal candidate possesses strong digital marketing skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset. You will work closely with the Assistant Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Operations, to achieve marketing goals and enhance our digital presence. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least one year of digital marketing experience.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in executing marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms and best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • At minimum 1 year’s work experience in a role focused on digital marketing
  • Experience working with social media platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Sprout Social, etc.) required

Responsibilities

  • Generate email campaigns, including building and deploying campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to proof marketing copy for promotion of products and services on website, emails, and social networking sites
  • Collect, draft, and schedule social media posts with input from Marketing Managers
  • Monitor responses to social media conversations about AIP Publishing and our projects/products
  • Use campaign results to recommend enhancements to copy, design, and targeting for greater marketing impact
  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing team and key vendors, ensuring the efficiency of output and the quality of campaigns
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing calendars and schedules
  • Analyze email, social media channels, and web traffic
  • Identify gaps in workflows and recommend improvements
  • Attend strategic meetings and trainings as required, including occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of HTML is a plus
