Summary
Join HitPay as their Marketing & Demand Generation Lead to build and scale their digital merchant acquisition engine. This high-impact role focuses on generating qualified sign-ups from SMBs and mid-sized businesses across Southeast Asia. You will lead the existing marketing team, developing and executing digital acquisition strategies. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, with a proven track record of success in SMB or long-tail audience acquisition. A strong understanding of various marketing channels (Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, etc.) and experience managing a marketing team are essential. The position offers a competitive base salary and equity, with visa sponsorship available for San Francisco-based hires. Remote work within the U.S. is acceptable, but requires a daily 4–6 hour overlap with the Asia timezone.
Requirements
- Have 5–10 years in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing
- Lead end-to-end digital acquisition: strategy, execution, and optimization
- Have proven success with SMB or long-tail audience acquisition (SaaS, fintech, marketplace, etc.)
- Be strong with Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, retargeting, landing pages, SEO, and funnel conversion
- Manage a marketing team and collaborate cross-functionally with product and sales
- Be comfortable with daily 4–6 hour Asia timezone overlap (especially if remote)

Responsibilities
- Own and scale HitPay’s digital merchant acquisition engine
- Generate qualified sign-ups from SMBs and mid-sized businesses across Southeast Asia
- Lead the existing marketing team
- Build campaigns hands-on and lead a small team
- Audit current funnel and identify quick wins and long-term priorities
- Launch performance campaigns across 2–3 key channels/markets
- Drive measurable improvements in CAC and qualified merchant sign-ups
- Build and manage campaign performance dashboards
- Align the marketing team’s execution plan with company growth goals
