Summary

As a Marketing Events Coordinator (Temporary Contractor Position), you will support various marketing events, both virtual and in-person, to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success. This remote (USA) position reports to the Head of Events & Partnerships and involves planning and executing marketing events, managing hospitality logistics, supporting content creation, building relationships with vendors and partners, managing travel budgets, and collaborating with other teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of experience in event planning or marketing, strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating engaging experiences. Chartbeat offers a competitive hourly rate of $40-$60.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, Marketing, or related roles, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • A passion for creating memorable and engaging experiences for attendees

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of all Marketing events, including conferences, webinars and hospitality events
  • Owning hospitality logistics such as venue selection, catering, and vendor management
  • Work with the content team to develop event collateral, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure event success
  • Monitor travel expenses and work with the team to ensure costs are managed efficiently
  • Work closely with other teams such as Sales and Customer Success to align event content and objectives with business goals
