Summary
Join Avetta as their Manager of Strategic Programs, reporting directly to the CMO. This critical role within the Office of the CMO involves empowering the marketing team through strategic planning, process improvement, program management, and reporting. You will partner with marketing leadership to build annual plans, lead cross-team initiatives, manage communications, and oversee budget operations. Responsibilities include developing frameworks, managing high-impact projects, and creating reporting mechanisms to track KPIs. A hybrid or remote work schedule may be available depending on location. The salary range is $65,000-$125,000 USD per year, with a potential bonus.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in marketing or related field
- PMP, Project Management certification or training in related field
- 3-5+ years of relevant marketing program management experience inside B2B SaaS companies
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing Leadership team in the build-out of our annual strategic marketing plan
- Orchestrate functional plan development and quarterly updates
- Lead in the execution of key initiatives that require cross-team integration
- Build and manage planning communications to articulate the vision, objectives, scope of work, outcomes, KPIs and timelines required
- This includes creating and executing a cadence of CMO communications externally through social media (ie LinkedIn posts) and internally to the org and key business stakeholders (ie a quarterly Marketing newsletter)
- Lead the management of high value, high impact strategic initiatives that require deep cross functional collaboration
- Scope and create repeatable frameworks to define RACI models, plans, timelines and KPIs
- Lead process documentation and development for and project management of key programs incorporating planning and execution best practices and agile methodologies
- Lead in executing program and project level communications and guiding on change management
- Own the processes and work associated with managing our annual marketing budget and recommend marketing budget allocations
- Partner with finance and functional leaders to build business cases and track, manage and optimize spend categorization to ensure our programs are delivering on expected ROI
- Establish, create and publish best practices, documentation and strategic operating models
- Help to identify, analyze, evaluate and define risk mitigation strategies to improve the teamโs operating effectiveness and opportunities to clarify accountability
- Collaborate with Marketing Leadership and functional teams to create the reporting and communications vehicles that showcase our progress to program level KPIs such as: lead funnel volume and pipeline conversion, % of marketing contribution to pipeline, key persona engagement for new logo and expansion opportunities and campaign performance and optimization

- Expert in getting things done and keeping them running; highly comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in developing frameworks that can be replicated and adapted for scale
- Superior collaborator and executor with excellent verbal, written, listening and presentation skills for communicating to and influencing a wide range of audiences including executives, colleagues and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional at utilizing escalation paths, updating executive stakeholders and translating strategy into execution
