Marketing Project Manager

Summary

Join our team as a Marketing Project Manager for a temporary, remote position (with CST support) lasting until May 2025! This role offers 20-40 hours per week at an hourly rate of $60. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management processes, mentoring a Project Coordinator, and managing key projects with Tier 1 partners. Experience in project management methodologies and tools (especially Hive) is crucial. This is a chance to significantly impact project execution while contributing to a growing organization.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Project Manager
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
• Proficiency in project management tools, especially Hive
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on coaching and mentoring team members
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth and consistent execution of established project management processes, ensuring they are adhered to across all projects
• Maintain the integrity of workflows, documentation standards, and communication practices
• Provide insights, feedback, and recommendations for process improvements based on your experience and observations
• Work with teams to optimize existing processes for better efficiency and effectiveness
• Mentor and coach our Project Coordinator, providing guidance on best practices, project management skills, and professional growth
• Support their development within the current role and help them enhance their project management capabilities
• Manage key projects, particularly those involving Tier 1 partners, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise
• Identify potential risks within projects and proactively work with teams to develop mitigation strategies and ensure successful project delivery
• Identify inefficiencies in the project management system and workflows, and collaborate with teams to streamline and improve them

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or similar project management certification
• Flexible thinker, comfortable with some level of organizational chaos
• Previous experience in maintaining or optimizing project management systems or processes
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with teams, stakeholders, and partners
• Experience managing marketing projects in Hive
