Join Toast as an Onboarding Consultant I, Employee Cloud and become the customer's main point of contact from purchase to onboarding of Toast Payroll. Work autonomously under an Onboarding Manager to meet activation goals, prioritize tasks based on customer needs, and deliver high-quality interactions. Leverage your Toast Payroll product knowledge and project management skills to create onboarding plans, configure the Payroll system to customer needs, and maximize the benefits of their Toast purchase. You will also be responsible for setting up client databases, guiding customers through onboarding, gathering key information, performing remote onboarding, documenting deviations from best practices, and creating and leading onboarding training for restaurant staff. Manage multiple onboarding engagements simultaneously and provide remote Go-Live support. This role requires 3+ years of experience in customer satisfaction and business operations, the ability to work independently, a proven track record of exceeding goals, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Leverage your Toast Payroll product knowledge and project management skills to partner with restaurant owners during the Go-Live phase, and build out onboarding plans that will produce a high quality implementation experience within timeline and budget
- Create best practices for managing daily restaurant operations by enabling restaurant owners and staff to utilize Toast Payroll -this includes configuring the Payroll system to the customers' unique setup needs in order to maximize the benefits of their Toast purchase, such as decreasing payroll processing time, streamlining POS hours, and increasing efficiency
- Responsible for setting up client databases utilizing information from the previous payroll provider or data provided by the client and guiding customers through initial onboarding steps, gathering key tax and financial information in a timely manner
- Perform onboarding remotely and observe Toast best practices as well as document any deviations from best practices that were identified during the design phase of the project
- Create & lead an onboarding training plan to the entire restaurant staff on how to leverage the Toast product configured to their business and workflow with a focus on operational efficiencies that positively impact the guest and staff experience
- Manage several onboarding engagements simultaneously, including large books of onboarding business (60+ restaurants) in your region
- Ensure the transition goes smoothly and that you are available for remote Go-Live support to assist and guide the customer during their first several days of usage by providing post-live remote guidance, troubleshoot problems or follow-up training
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Payroll / Payroll Service Provider
- Experience working in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Experience working in the tech industry or for a SAAS company
- Training, teaching, or development experience
