Onboarding Manager

Halcyon
Summary
Join Halcyon, a leading cybersecurity company, as their Onboarding Manager and create exceptional onboarding experiences for new sales hires. You will be the primary point of contact for new hires, guiding them through a comprehensive onboarding journey that is both productive and engaging. Partner with Sales Enablement and HR teams to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated onboarding process. Develop engaging training content, create helpful resources, and leverage tools to measure program effectiveness. Continuously improve the onboarding experience to boost ramp time, engagement, and retention. Be a culture champion, connecting new hires with the team and fostering a sense of belonging. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in onboarding, enablement, sales operations, or HR coordination—bonus if in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity
- Incredibly organized, detail-obsessed, creative, and able to juggle multiple onboarding cohorts with calm and clarity
- A people person with great energy and a flare for creative spin on mundane onboarding topics
- Familiarity with enablement tools (like LMS platforms, Slack, Zoom) and basic CRM systems (like Salesforce)
- A natural collaborator who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and positivity
- You believe that when people feel supported and seen, they do their best work—and you bring that philosophy to everything you do
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for all sales new hires during their onboarding journey
- Own the end-to-end Sales Onboarding program—from Day 1 welcome to full ramp-up—with precision and enthusiasm
- Partner with the Sales Enablement Manager to deliver engaging training content, coordinate sessions, and reinforce key sales methodologies
- Work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and managers to ensure a frictionless experience: badges ordered, accounts created, swag shipped, and calendars full of useful (not painful) meetings
- Create resources, playbooks, and guides that are both educational and fun—because boring PDFs help no one
- Leverage LMS and other tools to measure program effectiveness, adoption and retention
- Regularly collect feedback and measure onboarding effectiveness; continuously improve the experience to boost ramp time, engagement, and retention
- Be the culture champion for new hires—connecting them with the team, answering their “silly” questions (they’re never silly), and making them feel like they belong from day one
Benefits
- Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents
- 401k plan with a generous employer contribution
- Short and long-term disability coverage, basic life and AD&D insurance plans
- Medical and dependent care FSA options
- Flexible PTO policy
- Parental leave
- Generous equity offering
