Summary
Join Pavago as a detail-oriented Operations and Finance Administrator to support our clientโs daily financial and administrative operations. This remote, full-time position, working Atlantic Standard Time hours, involves managing the business's financial systems using Zoho Books, handling invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting. You will ensure smooth communication with clients and team members. The role requires strong accounting experience, a finance degree, and proficiency in financial tools. Success in this position demands accuracy, proactivity, and collaboration. A typical day involves a mix of financial and operational tasks, including bank reconciliations, invoice management, report preparation, and client communication.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven accounting experience, with a strong preference for expertise in management accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Proficiency in Zoho Books preferred; familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero is acceptable
- Experience with tools like ChatGPT, Zoom, and Loom
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative in a remote setting
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial operations
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports and records
- Create and manage customer invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and manage receivables to ensure proper cash flow
- Contribute to the setup and optimization of the business's financial and operating system using Zoho tools
- Provide additional administrative support as needed, including organizing financial documents and assisting in operational tasks
- Communicate professionally with clients via email, ensuring all inquiries and issues are addressed promptly
- Work closely with the General Manager and team members to align on financial and operational priorities
