Summary

Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid 10-week experiential learning program, and gain valuable work experience at a non-profit. The program includes virtual professional development sessions and a stipend of either $5,500 or $3,300 depending on whether you work full-time or part-time. You'll work with the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)'s Operations team, contributing to various operational tasks. The internship offers opportunities to develop and streamline processes, conduct research, provide administrative support, and contribute to innovative initiatives. Successful candidates will interview with both FEE and Stand Together Fellowships staff. The role can be performed in-person in Atlanta, GA or remotely.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools
  • Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and streamlining processes to enhance overall operational efficiency
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify operational areas for improvement, offering insightful recommendations for enhancement
  • Provide vital administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, file organization, and document management
  • Help contribute to the development and implementation of innovative operational initiatives aimed at optimizing organizational effectiveness
  • Monitor LinkedIn daily and draft engaging content for monthly LinkedIn posts
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating FEE’s monthly internal newsletter

Preferred Qualifications

Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field degree desired, but not required
