Requirements
- At least 3 years of prior experience in order processing, order entry, or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to vet orders for errors
- A strong understanding of customer purchase orders and quotes with the ability to compare to ensure accuracy
- Exceptional English communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage your time to ensure timely and accurate order processing
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to work collaboratively with others in the team
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think on your feet, and address discrepancies or issues promptly
Responsibilities
- Review and maintain the electronic order queue
- Vet orders for errors and upload them to a designated drive
- Enter orders accurately and promptly from different sources, including Exostar, Emails and Purchase Orders
- Compare customer purchase orders to quotes or perform manual entry when necessary
- Verify customer account details, ensure accurate order entry, verify line numbers and pricing, and ensure the orders contain all the necessary information to process them correctly
- Check inventory levels and adjust orders accordingly
- Communicate with the Inside sales reps and or customers about any discrepancies
