Order Processing Specialist

Summary

The job is for an Order Processing Specialist in a remote team based in India. Requirements

• At least 3 years of prior experience in order processing, order entry, or similar role
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to vet orders for errors
• A strong understanding of customer purchase orders and quotes with the ability to compare to ensure accuracy
• Exceptional English communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage your time to ensure timely and accurate order processing
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to work collaboratively with others in the team
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think on your feet, and address discrepancies or issues promptly

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain the electronic order queue
• Vet orders for errors and upload them to a designated drive
• Enter orders accurately and promptly from different sources, including Exostar, Emails and Purchase Orders
• Compare customer purchase orders to quotes or perform manual entry when necessary
• Verify customer account details, ensure accurate order entry, verify line numbers and pricing, and ensure the orders contain all the necessary information to process them correctly
• Check inventory levels and adjust orders accordingly
• Communicate with the Inside sales reps and or customers about any discrepancies
