Summary

The job is for a Robot Business Developer at Applied Controls, a high-tech automation company. The role involves maintaining or increasing sales of collaborative robots and services in the Mid Atlantic US region, with a focus on UR's portfolio. The position is remote and based in PA, MD, DE, or NJ.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred) or related subject
• 3-5 years of experience in outside sales within Robotics
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quota
• Experience working with distribution
• Previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project sales involving technical products
• Strong sense of understanding of the value proposition to end-users
• Business acumen that can be applied at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical support
• Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
• Self-motivated and customer driven
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

Responsibilities

• Maintain/increase sales volume of collaborative robots and services for UR's portfolio
• Execute assigned sales goals and sales plans within a designated sales territory
• Work with Applied Controls Account Managers
• Demonstrate collaborative robots and discuss complex applications
• Represent company at tradeshows and other professional activities
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace
