• Increase the velocity of development on the Ethereum protocol’s p2p networking layer
• Cultivate a consistent multi-year roadmap for the p2p layer
• Stimulate conversation and decisions regarding the p2p layer's development
• Reach consensus among stakeholders on p2p layer development decisions
• Collaborate with external teams and the Ethereum community on p2p layer development
• Shepard open source standards related to the p2p layer
