Paid Search Strategist

Summary

The job description is for a Paid Search Strategist (SEM) at a digital marketing agency. The role involves executing paid media matters, optimizing performance, and driving growth for clients. The candidate should have experience in an acquisition-focused paid media role, be comfortable leading and executing strategies, and have knowledge of ad platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and programmatic.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in a direct-response paid media capacity for DTC and ecomm brands
• Experienced in ad platforms including, but not limited to, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and programmatic (e.g., StackAdapt)
• Track record of consistently meeting (ideally, exceeding) revenue and ROAS targets across four- to five-figure monthly media budgets
• Well-versed in Shopify, Merchant Center, Klaviyo, and Mailchimp (HubSpot is a plus)
• Knowledgeable of the latest tracking/first-party data across all major ad platforms
• Prior experience managing multiple client accounts

Responsibilities

• Execute all paid media matters (e.g., Google Ads, programmatic)
• Deliver impactful campaigns and optimize performance
• Lead and execute both short- and long-term strategy + tactics for clients’ integrated paid search and display programs
• Help clients quickly see next-level insights and analyses that will actually help their business grow
• Monitor and manage active SEM campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads
• Oversee multiple clients' expectations, strategies, budgets, and conversions
• Ensure timely delivery of projects by coordinating internal resources and managing deadlines
