Partnerships and Investments Manager

Summary

The job is for a Capital Markets role at Animoca Brands, a leader in digital entertainment, blockchain, and gamification. The role involves strategic advice, investor relations, pitch deck preparation, negotiations, capital raising, coordination, and identifying growth opportunities. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in capital markets, a bachelor's degree or higher in finance, and understanding of financial modelling techniques.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years solid experience within capital markets, investment with Corporate Development Background
• Bachelor degree or above / holder of professional qualification equivalent in Finance
• Comprehensive understanding of financial modelling techniques is required

Responsibilities

• Providing support to the business with strategic advice and execution in relation to capital market initiatives
• Supporting Investor Relations activities to organize investor events
• Preparing investor pitch decks and other reports
• Explore, negotiate, and liaise with potential investors and actively providing market updates and performance
• Assist in capital raising activities for new projects
• Providing pricing analysis and help negotiate business terms with potential funding partners
• Coordinating between stakeholders to ensure contractual requirements are met
• Directly working with the VP of capital markets to identify and work on new growth opportunities in the gaming, blockchain and vc-backed early-stage investment industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven exposure to equity Safe / Safe Deal flow experiences
• Good understanding and interest in Blockchain / Crypto / Web3 industry is preferred
