Requirements

  • Proactive and enthusiastic - self-motivated and a self-starter, bucketfuls of energy, and able to manage your own time
  • The gift of the gab - you will love building relationships, talking to new people, and objection-handling
  • Super-human organization - you'll be responsible for hundreds of partners at different deal stages and will need to juggle their needs and an acquisition budget
  • Analytical - you’ll be comfortable with numbers and the full Microsoft suite, be able to analyze past deals and act to optimize them
  • Entrepreneurial and creative - seeking out the perfect new partners to work with isn’t always easy - you might need to look in some unexpected places to find them
  • Comfortable: Leveraging your hunter mindset to find new opportunities, Using a variety of techniques to find and make contact with the right person at each prospective company, Closing: negotiating final deal specifics and contracting, Reviewing analytics and data to ensure deals translate into investment payback, Working across the business to successfully deliver the deals you land
  • A proven track record in business development, B2B, SAAS, or phone sales
  • Self-starter mentality; excited by a growth environment and willing to get stuck in
  • Highly organized; Strong work ethic
  • Confidence and resilience – being comfortable turning “no” into “yes” through a creativity and solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence speaking with C-level executives

Responsibilities

  • Recruit the loyal Angels that will fund our talented winemakers for years to come
  • Build a pipeline of new and exciting partners that will deliver new customers to the business
  • Nurture our existing partner relationships to drive more value out of them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building new channels / new routes to customer acquisition
  • Knowledge, experience, and contacts in the retail or insert media space
