Requirements

  • Proven experience as a scheduling coordinator or in a similar administrative role in healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare services
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in computer software, including scheduling applications and MS Office Suite
  • Email etiquette and customer service experience
  • Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (any US time zone)
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in handling scheduling tasks
  • Proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities to resolve scheduling issues

  • Processor :Windows Devices : Intel Core i5 (or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 (or higher).Mac Devices : Apple M1 chip or newer
  • RAM :Minimum of 8GB or higher for optimal performance
  • Operating System :Windows : Windows 11 Pro (Windows 10 Pro is acceptable but not preferred). The operating system must have a legitimate license.Mac : macOS compatible with M1 or newer chips
  • Hard Disk :At least an SSD for faster processing and performance
  • Internet Connectivity :Minimum speed of 50 Mbps via a wired connection for stability and reliability.A backup internet connection is highly recommended

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of provider schedules
  • Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and provide relevant information
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments and patient interactions in our scheduling system
  • Assist patients with any inquiries related to their appointments, including rescheduling and cancellations
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to address scheduling conflicts and manage patient flow
  • Send reminders to patients regarding upcoming appointments to reduce no-show rates
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Support other administrative duties as needed to improve operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

Power Supply :A backup power supply (e.g., UPS or generator) to prevent disruptions during power outages (optional but encouraged)
